This website does not collect anything about you.
People researching disability care are often researching the hardest thing in their life. This site is built so that nobody — including us — can watch you do it.
What this website collects
Nothing. This is a static website. It has no database, no login, no form that submits to a server, and no server-side code that runs when you visit.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no page-view counter, no heat maps.
- No tracking cookies. This site sets no cookies at all.
- No advertising or social pixels. No Meta pixel, no remarketing tags, no "share" widgets that phone home.
- No third-party fonts. Our fonts are served from this site's own domain, so no font provider learns that you visited.
- No embedded third-party content that would load anything from another company as you read.
Our web host, like every web host, keeps standard server logs (things like the requesting IP address and the page requested) for the ordinary purposes of running and securing a website. We do not use those logs to build any profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.
What we collect when you contact us
Only what you tell us. If you call us or email us, we hold what you choose to give us — for example a name, a contact number, and the details of the support you are asking about — so that we can respond to you and, if you become a participant, so that we can deliver the support safely.
Where you become a participant, that will include health and disability information, which is sensitive information under Australian privacy law. It is collected because it is necessary to deliver the support safely, and it is used for that.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary, and specifically:
- With the workers delivering your support, and the registered nurse supervising them.
- With your treating clinicians, your behaviour support practitioner, or your support coordinator, where that is needed to deliver the support and you have agreed to it.
- With the NDIA, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, or another authority, where the law requires us to — for example a reportable incident.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us how we are using it. You can complain about how we have handled your information — to us, and also to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which is independent of us.
A complaint about privacy, like any other complaint, will never affect the supports you receive.
Children and young people
Where a participant is a child, information is provided by and discussed with their parent or guardian — but the child's privacy and dignity still matter, and we treat them that way.
If this changes
If PowerCare ever adds analytics, a cookie, an embedded map, or a form that submits to a server, this page will say so — before it happens, not after.
